VENDORS REQUIRING BID PROCESS FOR
TRANSACTIONS EXCEEDING $25.00
The following individuals, corporations, organizations, firms, and/or associations responded to the Inquiry To Determine Compliance With the Provisions of Public Officers Law Section 73(4) that they own or control more than 10% of the stock of the following corporations and also have members that are officers or employees of New York State.
Procurements exceeding $25.00 may only be transacted after a sealed, competitive bid process if the vendors are:*
- BINGHAMTON MEN'S LACROSSE CAMP
- BINGHAMTON TENNIS CENTER
- MICRO WORLD COMPUTER STORE
- OVERBROOK ENTERPRISES INC
Per Public Officers Law, this competitive bid process applies for a two year period following termination of service or employment.*
*"Public Officers Law Section 73(8) (a) (i). No person who has served as a state officer or employee shall within a period of two years after the termination of such service or employment appear or practice before such state agency or receive compensation for any services rendered by such former officer or employee on behalf of any person, firm, corporation or association in relation to any case, proceeding or application or other matter before such agency. "
